As a Gym Owner/Nutrition Coach, I get a lot of questions about Whey Protein. What it is, How much should be consumed, when it should be consumed, etc.

Whey Protein is the liquid that separates from the curds in the cheese making process and its nutritional value depends on how healthy the cows are that the Whey is extracted from.

Whey Protein is a convenient supplement to quickly add some protein into your daily diet. I recommend having one serving a day, about 25 grams of protein. On days you workout, save your Whey and have it 30 minutes to one hour after your workout. Your body digests it fast and will use all the amino acids to restore and help in the recovery process.
